Field data that reaches the office in a usable shape.

Energy work runs on permits, inspections, equipment records and approvals that cross sites, contractors and clients. We build the portals, field apps and workflow systems that keep that paper moving, and we expect the security questionnaire that comes with every large buyer. The aim is a system that works in a dusty yard and still survives a review.

Before and after

What this removes.

Inspection records trapped on paper

Today

Technicians fill forms on site, photograph them later, and an engineer re-types the results days afterwards.

With the system

Forms completed on a tablet or phone, offline if needed, and synced into a searchable record the same shift.

Approvals that wait in someone's inbox

Today

Permits, change requests and document submittals pass by email, and nobody knows which step is stuck or why.

With the system

A workflow with named approvers, deadlines and a visible status, plus a full history for audit.

Supplier onboarding that repeats for every client

Today

Each operator wants a different registration pack, and your team fills in the same details again and again.

With the system

One maintained supplier profile and document vault that exports into whatever format each buyer portal expects.

Asset data nobody trusts

Today

Equipment registers live in spreadsheets with several versions, and a maintenance decision depends on whoever last edited the file.

With the system

A single asset register with change history, linked to the work orders and inspections that touch it.

Regulatory and contractual

What actually applies.

NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls

The National Cybersecurity Authority's Essential Cybersecurity Controls apply to government bodies and critical national infrastructure, and many energy operators pass the same expectations down to suppliers and contractors. We build systems aligned with the ECC domains that matter for software, such as access control, logging, secure configuration and change management.

Operator vendor-portal and security-review expectations

Large energy buyers run supplier registration portals and send security questionnaires covering hosting, data handling and incident response. We prepare the architecture documentation and answers those reviews ask for, so a software delivery does not stall at the vendor gate. Answers are written once and reused across buyers, with a named owner who keeps them current.

Data classification and residency

Engineering and operational data is often classified by the client, with limits on where it may be stored or processed. We confirm the classification at scoping and choose in-Kingdom hosting and access rules to match.

Buyer questions

Asked before signing.

Does your software carry an NCA stamp of approval?

No software carries a formal sign-off from the Authority on its own. We build to the requirements of the ECC controls that apply and prepare documentation for your assessment, while any formal compliance status belongs to your organisation.

Can the field app work without a signal?

Yes. Remote sites are the normal case, so the app stores forms and photos locally, queues them, and syncs when a connection returns, with conflict handling for records edited in two places.

How long does a supplier portal take to build?

A first release covering registration, document upload, approvals and reporting usually takes 10 to 14 weeks. Integrations with your ERP or the client's systems add time, and we agree them at scoping.

Can this run inside our own environment?

Yes. We can deploy into your cloud tenancy or data centre, so operational data never sits with us, and hand over the deployment scripts so your team can rebuild it without our involvement. Operational ownership stays with you from day one.

Start with the process that still runs on email.

Pick one permit, inspection or onboarding flow. We will sketch the digital version and the security answers your buyer will want alongside it.
