marketing analytics setup

Know which pages and channels bring enquiries, not just visits

Most analytics accounts are installed once and never checked. We set up GA4, Search Console and Bing Webmaster so enquiries, calls and form submissions are counted correctly, then build the reports around them.

The direct answer

Marketing analytics setup is configuring the tools that record how people find and use your website, so you can see which pages, channels and campaigns lead to enquiries. It fits companies that rely on their site for leads. We set up GA4, Search Console and Bing Webmaster, define the events that matter, handle consent, and deliver readable dashboards.

Before and after

What this removes.

Enquiries are not counted

Today

Form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks are not tracked, so you cannot tell which pages produce leads.

With the system

Every enquiry type fires a defined event, and the report shows which pages and sources produced it.

Numbers differ between tools

Today

Analytics says one thing, Search Console another, and the sales team a third, so no one trusts any of them.

With the system

We document what each tool measures and why it differs, and the dashboard puts them side by side.

Tracking ignores consent and privacy

Today

Scripts load before anyone agrees to them, and nobody has checked it against the Saudi data protection law.

With the system

Consent is handled in the tag setup, with data collection reviewed against PDPL requirements.

Reports nobody opens

Today

Dashboards were built once, show forty metrics, and have no answer to a single business question.

With the system

One page answers five questions your team asked, in Arabic or English, and refreshes automatically.

What we build

What lands in your hands.

GA4 setup and cleanup

Properties, data streams, filters, retention and access configured and documented.

Events and conversions

Forms, calls, downloads and key clicks defined, named and tested.

Search Console and Bing Webmaster

Verified properties, sitemaps submitted, and the two engines read together.

Tag management

A tag manager container with a naming scheme and a change log.

Consent and privacy configuration

Consent signals wired into tags, with collection reviewed against PDPL.

Dashboards and training

A readable report in Looker Studio and a working session for your team.

In depth

How it works, and what to decide.

What gets measured, and why it comes first

Analytics starts with a list, not a tool. Before touching GA4 we sit down with you and write the questions the business needs answered: which pages produce enquiries, which sources send serious buyers, which language performs better, where visitors leave before a form. Each question maps to an event or a report, and anything that does not map gets dropped.

Then we define events. A form submission, a click on a phone number, a WhatsApp button, a brochure download and a booking are not the same, and lumping them together hides what works. We name each event consistently, mark the ones that count as conversions, and test them in a debug view before any real traffic is trusted.

Existing accounts usually need cleanup before anything new. We check for duplicate tags, internal traffic counted as visits, cross-domain gaps between your site and a booking or payment page, and unused properties. A setup like this takes 2 to 4 weeks, depending on how many sites, languages and forms are involved.

Search Console, Bing Webmaster and GA4 together

These three tools answer different questions. Google Search Console shows how you appear in Google results: queries, impressions, clicks, indexing and page experience. Bing Webmaster Tools offers the same for Bing, which also feeds several other search products and assistants. GA4 records what visitors do after they arrive. None of them replaces the others.

We verify each property at the domain level, submit sitemaps, link Search Console to GA4 where the data is useful, and set up the checks that tell you when something breaks, such as a drop in indexed pages or a spike in errors. Because Arabic and English pages often live in separate paths, we configure views so you can compare them directly.

We then build a single organic-search report that joins the three. It shows which queries bring impressions, which pages convert, and where a page ranks well but gets no enquiries. That last group is usually where the fastest gains are, and it feeds directly into the SEO work if you run it with us.

Consent, PDPL and who can see the data

Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law applies when you collect data that identifies people, and analytics identifiers can fall under it. The practical questions are what you collect, why, where it is processed, how long it is kept, and whether visitors are told. We do not give legal advice, and your counsel should confirm your position, but we build the tracking so that those questions have clear answers.

In practice this means a consent banner connected to your tags so that analytics and marketing scripts respect the visitor's choice, shortened data retention, no personal data in event parameters such as email addresses in URLs, and a short written record of what each tool collects. We review the regulator's published guidance as we go and flag points for your legal team.

Finally, access. We set up named user accounts with the least access each person needs, remove old agency users, and document who owns each property. Ownership matters more than most companies expect: if the account sits in a former contractor's login, you cannot reach your own history.

The delivery plan

Five stages. You sign off every one.

Read each stage as a small contract: what we need from you, what lands in your hands, and the sentence that has to be true before we move on.

Buyer questions

Asked before signing.

Can you fix our existing GA4 account instead of starting over?

Usually yes. We audit what is there, keep the history that is sound, and fix duplicate tags, missing events and wrong filters. A fresh property is only worth creating when the old one is too damaged to trust.

What does marketing analytics setup cost?

Cost depends on the number of sites and languages, how many events and forms need tracking, and whether you want dashboards. We scope it after the audit and quote a fixed price for the setup, with an optional quarterly review.

Is our tracking compliant with the Saudi data protection law?

We build tracking to support PDPL requirements, with consent handling, limited retention and no personal data in event fields. We are not a law firm, so your legal advisor should confirm your overall position.

Do we keep ownership of the accounts?

Yes. Every property, container and dashboard sits under your own organisation's login, with us added as a user. When we finish, you keep full admin access and the documentation.

Can the dashboards be in Arabic?

Yes. Labels, notes and the metric glossary can be written in Arabic or English, and we can produce both. Chart titles and explanations follow right-to-left layout where the tool supports it.
