Power Apps and SharePoint developer Saudi Arabia

Use the Microsoft tools you pay for, with rules around them

Your Microsoft 365 licence already includes tools that can replace a stack of spreadsheets and email chains. Left alone, they also produce hundreds of unowned apps. We build the apps and flows, set up SharePoint properly, and put governance in place before it is needed.

The direct answer

Power Platform is Microsoft's low-code toolset: Power Apps for forms and apps, Power Automate for flows, and Dataverse for data, working alongside SharePoint and Microsoft 365. It fits companies already on Microsoft that need internal apps and approvals quickly. We build them, set up SharePoint and tenant governance, plan licensing, and say when a problem needs custom software.

Before and after

What this removes.

Business processes living in spreadsheets

Today

Requests, inspections and registers sit in Excel files on shared drives, with copies that drift apart.

With the system

A Power App and a list or table hold one record, with roles, history and notifications.

SharePoint nobody can navigate

Today

Years of folders, broken permissions and duplicate files make documents hard to find and risky to share.

With the system

A planned site structure, clear permissions, metadata and retention make documents findable and controlled.

Citizen apps growing without control

Today

Staff build flows on personal accounts, and nobody knows which ones touch customer data or break when the author leaves.

With the system

Environments, data policies and ownership rules decide who builds what, and where.

Licensing surprises

Today

An app that looked free in a pilot needs premium licences once more people use it or it touches certain data.

With the system

Licensing is estimated per app and per user group before build, so the running cost is known.

What we build

What lands in your hands.

Power Apps

Canvas and model-driven apps for requests, inspections, registers and field data, in Arabic and English.

Power Automate flows

Approvals, notifications and data movement between Microsoft 365 and your other systems.

SharePoint and Teams

Site architecture, document libraries, permissions, metadata and Teams workspaces that fit how you work.

Microsoft 365 rollout

Tenant setup, migration of files and mail, security settings and role-based training.

Governance and DLP

Environment layout, data loss prevention policies, ownership rules and a review routine.

Licensing and cost plan

A per-app view of the licences you need, before anything is built.

In depth

How it works, and what to decide.

What Power Platform does well, and one platform, not four

Power Platform is a set of tools that share one data and identity layer. Power Apps builds the screens, Power Automate moves data and runs approvals, Dataverse stores structured data, and SharePoint and Teams hold documents and conversations. Used together, they cover a large share of internal needs: leave requests, equipment checks, site inspections, onboarding, contract registers and simple case tracking.

That is the reason we treat SharePoint, Teams and the Power Platform as one engagement, not four. An approval flow needs a document library to read from. A form needs a permission model. A rollout of Microsoft 365 is the moment to decide where data will live. Getting these decisions right once is cheaper than fixing them app by app.

A first app or a planned SharePoint site typically takes three to ten weeks including design, build, testing and training. We build in Arabic and English with right-to-left layouts, and we design for phone use where staff work in the field or on site.

Governance, licensing and data residency

Low-code is easy to start and hard to tidy later, so governance comes first. We define environments for development, test and production, decide who can create what, and set data loss prevention (DLP) policies that control which connectors can be combined. For example, a policy can stop a flow from sending SharePoint data to a personal email or an unapproved cloud service. Microsoft documents these controls, and we apply them to match your policy and your sector.

Licensing needs an honest review. Standard Microsoft 365 licences cover some Power Apps and Power Automate use, but premium connectors, Dataverse capacity, and apps used by many people often need additional plans. We estimate this per app and per user group before building, so you do not discover the running cost after launch. Microsoft changes its plans from time to time, so we check current terms with you rather than quote from memory.

For Saudi tenants, data residency is a design question, not an assumption. Where your tenant and its environments are located, and what the Personal Data Protection Law and sector rules require of the data you store, should be settled before the first app holds real records. Where a policy requires data to stay in the Kingdom, we raise that early and design to it, or recommend a different platform for that data.

When low-code stops being the right answer

Low-code has limits, and we would rather tell you early. Signs you have reached them include heavy transaction volume, complex business rules that do not fit a flow, performance problems with large data sets, a need for a custom public-facing product, and licence costs that now exceed the cost of a custom build. Apps that sit at the center of your operation and carry money or regulated data often belong in custom software.

We do not force that choice. A common path is to start in Power Platform to prove the process, learn what users need, and move to custom software when the process has settled and the volume justifies it. Because we build both, the design is not thrown away: the rules, the data model and the user feedback carry over to the custom build.

Some work is not low-code at all. If the real need is a rich customer portal, a deep integration with your ERP, or a system with strict performance targets, we point you to our custom software and integration services instead of stretching a low-code tool past its strengths.

The delivery plan

Five stages. You sign off every one.

Read each stage as a small contract: what we need from you, what lands in your hands, and the sentence that has to be true before we move on.

01 / 05

Assessment and plan

1 to 2 weeks

We review your tenant, your candidate processes and your licences, and agree what to build first.

What you do
  • Give admin access for review
  • Name the processes that cost the most effort
What we deliver
  • A tenant and licence review
  • A ranked list of apps and flows
  • A governance outline
Exit criteria

We move on when you have approved the first build and the licence plan behind it.

02 / 05

Governance setup

1 to 2 weeks

We set up environments, data policies, ownership rules and the SharePoint structure.

What you do
  • Decide who may build and who approves
  • Confirm data policies with security
What we deliver
  • Environments and DLP policies
  • A SharePoint site architecture
  • An ownership and review rule set
Exit criteria

We move on when environments and policies are in place and approved by your security owner.

03 / 05

Build

2 to 5 weeks

We build the apps and flows in Arabic and English and show progress each week.

What you do
  • Test with real cases
  • Confirm routing and approval rules
What we deliver
  • Working apps and flows in test
  • Connections to your other systems
  • Role-based access
Exit criteria

We move on when your real cases run end to end and end in the right result.

A small group uses it for real work while we fix what they find, then we train the rest.

What you do
  • Choose pilot users
  • Schedule training

Buyer questions

Asked before signing.

Do we need extra licences for Power Apps and Power Automate?

Sometimes. Some use is covered by a Microsoft 365 licence, but premium connectors, Dataverse and widely used apps often need extra plans. We estimate licences per app before build, using current Microsoft terms, so the running cost is clear first.

Is our data stored in Saudi Arabia?

That depends on your tenant and environment settings, and it must be checked rather than assumed. We confirm where each environment sits and what your policy requires. If a data set must stay in the Kingdom, we design for that or advise another platform.

How do you stop low-code apps getting out of control?

With environments, data loss prevention policies, ownership rules and a regular review. Each app has a named owner, and the policies decide which connectors may be combined, so a flow cannot quietly send company data to an unapproved place.

When should we choose custom software instead?

Choose custom software when volume is high, rules are complex, performance matters, the app is public-facing, or licence costs approach the cost of a build. We can start in Power Platform and carry the design over to a custom build later.

Can you organize our existing SharePoint?

Yes. We review the structure, permissions and file sprawl, then redesign sites, libraries and metadata, and migrate content in stages. Retention and sharing rules are set so documents stay findable and under control.
