game live ops services

Keep your launched game alive and earning month after month

Launch is the start. Players drift away unless there is something new to do, and your economy drifts unless someone watches it. We run the events, the tuning and the analytics that keep a game healthy.

The direct answer

Game live-ops is the ongoing work of running a launched game: scheduling events and seasons, tuning the economy, testing changes and reading player data. It fits studios and companies whose game has an audience but flat or falling retention and revenue. We set up the tooling and analytics, then run the content and tuning cycle with you.

Before and after

What this removes.

Players leave after the content runs out

Today

You shipped one big update, then silence, and daily players fell back to a small group.

With the system

A calendar of events and seasons gives players a reason to return every week, planned months ahead.

Every change needs a store release

Today

A price tweak or a bug in an event waits days for review, and you cannot test anything safely.

With the system

Remote config and feature flags let you change values and switch features on or off without a release.

You do not know why revenue moved

Today

Numbers go up and down and nobody can say which change, event or player segment caused it.

With the system

Segmented dashboards and controlled tests tie each change to its effect on retention and spend.

The economy is inflating and nobody owns it

Today

Free currency piles up, prices stop mattering, and veteran players have nothing left to buy.

With the system

We track sources and sinks, rebalance on a schedule and keep rewards meaningful.

What we build

What lands in your hands.

Analytics pipeline

Event tracking, dashboards and funnels showing where players stay or leave.

Remote config and feature flags

Change values and launch features without a store release.

Event and season tooling

Scheduling, rewards and localized messaging for time-limited content.

Economy dashboard and balancing

Currency sources, sinks and price tests with a regular tuning review.

A/B testing framework

Controlled tests on prices, rewards and onboarding, with clear readouts.

Monitoring and incident response

Alerts for crashes, server load and broken purchase flows.

In depth

How it works, and what to decide.

What live-ops actually involves

Live-ops is a rhythm, not a project. Each week has the same shape: read last week's numbers, decide what to change, ship it safely, and watch the effect. The tools that make this possible are a clean analytics pipeline, remote configuration, a way to schedule and localize events, and dashboards your whole team trusts.

We start by instrumenting what matters. That means a short list of events, such as session start, level complete, purchase and ad view, with consistent names and properties. Too many events create noise. Too few leave you guessing. We agree the list with you, build the funnels, and confirm the data is correct before anyone reads a conclusion from it.

Then we build the calendar. A healthy game mixes small weekly events, larger monthly ones and a seasonal arc. Plan on 2 to 4 weeks to set up tooling and the first calendar, and after that the work becomes a steady cycle rather than a series of rescues.

Economy, testing and the Saudi calendar

A game economy is a system of sources, where currency enters, and sinks, where it leaves. When sources outrun sinks, prices stop mattering and players stop spending. We track both sides, set targets, and adjust rewards or add worthwhile things to buy. Changes are tested on a segment first, never on everyone at once.

A/B testing needs discipline. We decide the question and the success measure before the test starts, run it long enough to mean something, and report the result even when it is disappointing. A test that proves an idea wrong saves you from shipping it.

Local context matters here. Player activity shifts through the day and across the year. Ramadan changes play hours, with evenings and nights busier, and National Day and Founding Day are natural moments for themed events. Weekend patterns follow the Saudi week. We plan event timing and wording around these rhythms, and we keep themed content respectful and positive.

Privacy, hosting and who does what

Analytics means personal data, so we keep it deliberate. We collect events that serve a defined purpose, avoid unnecessary identifiers, and design consent and retention to align with the Personal Data Protection Law. Where it makes sense, we host the analytics store and game backend on a cloud region inside the Kingdom, in line with the cloud rules from the Communications, Space and Technology Commission.

Responsibilities stay clear. You own the game and its design decisions. We run the pipeline, the tooling and the monitoring, and we propose events, tests and tuning each cycle. You approve what goes live. Nothing changes in production without your sign-off.

If your game was built elsewhere, we begin with an audit of the existing tracking, backend and release process, and tell you what to fix before live-ops can work. That audit usually takes 1 to 2 weeks.

The delivery plan

Five stages. You sign off every one.

Read each stage as a small contract: what we need from you, what lands in your hands, and the sentence that has to be true before we move on.

01 / 04

Audit and instrumentation

1 to 2 weeks

We review your game, agree the key events and metrics, and check that the data is trustworthy.

What you do
  • Share build access and current dashboards
  • Name your retention and revenue goals
  • Identify the data owner on your side
What we deliver
  • An event and metrics specification
  • An audit of tracking and backend
  • A correct baseline of current numbers
Exit criteria

We move on when the tracked events are verified and the baseline is agreed.

02 / 04

Tooling setup

1 to 2 weeks

We put remote config, feature flags, dashboards and event scheduling in place.

What you do
  • Approve the dashboards you will use
  • Provide store and backend access
  • Confirm who can publish changes
What we deliver
  • Remote config and flags live
  • Dashboards for retention, revenue and economy
  • An event scheduling and localization tool
Exit criteria

We move on when a test change can be made and rolled back without a store release.

03 / 04

First event calendar

2 to 3 weeks

We plan and launch the first set of events and a first small experiment.

What you do
  • Review the proposed calendar
  • Approve rewards and Arabic wording
  • Decide the first experiment
What we deliver
  • A three-month event calendar
  • The first events live
  • A defined A/B test with success measure
Exit criteria

We move on when the first events and the first experiment are live and measured.

04 / 04

Tuning cycle

ongoing, in cycles of 2 to 4 weeks

We repeat a regular cycle of reading data, proposing changes, testing and shipping.

What you do
  • Join the review each cycle
  • Approve proposed changes
  • Share player feedback and support themes
What we deliver
  • A cycle report with recommendations
  • Tuned prices, rewards and difficulty
  • Test results, including the failures
Exit criteria

We move on when each cycle ends with an approved list of changes and their measured effect.

Buyer questions

Asked before signing.

Do you take over a game someone else built?

Yes. We begin with a one to two week audit of the tracking, backend and release process, then tell you what must be fixed before live-ops can work. Poor instrumentation is the most common problem, and fixing it first prevents months of guessing.

What does live-ops cost?

Setup is a fixed fee after the audit. The ongoing work is a monthly retainer sized by how many events, tests and tuning cycles you want. Third-party tool and hosting costs are passed through at cost and shown separately, so you can see exactly what you pay for.

Can you run events during Ramadan and National Day?

Yes. We plan these into the calendar months ahead, adapt timing to changed play hours during Ramadan, and write event wording in Arabic that is respectful and fitting. Themed content stays positive and avoids anything that could cause offense.

Where is player analytics data stored?

We can host the analytics store and game backend in a cloud region inside the Kingdom. We keep collection limited to defined purposes and design consent and retention to align with the Personal Data Protection Law, with a record of what is tracked.

Will we be able to change values without a store release?

Yes. Remote config and feature flags let your team adjust prices, rewards and event settings, or switch a feature off, in minutes. Every change is logged and can be rolled back, so a mistake is a quick correction rather than an emergency.

Ready to keep your game growing after launch

Share your game and your current numbers. We will audit the tracking and give you a fixed setup price within a week.
